How did you get into racing?
I started mountain biking in high school, and joined our high school mountain bike team my senior year. I did a few races with them. That was 2009-2010. I then got my first road bike in September of 2011, and two weeks later on October
I did my first criterium. I’ve been racing ever since.
What and where is your favorite race?
I don’t have a favorite race. I have a favorite type of race, and it’s the criterium though.
How many years have you been with the iPA-Sports program?
This will be my first year with the iPA-Sports program.
What do you look forward to most about cycling?
I look forward to the incredibly hard training process and slow and gradual growth process. It’s a sport of patience, where it takes a long time to start reaping the rewards of all the efforts you put in. And you learn to celebrate and cherish those baby step increases in performance.
If you could vacation anywhere, where would you go?
If I could vacation anywhere, I’d go to New Zealand.
